Day trip to Imlil & Toubkal National Park
What you will do:
Enjoy a scenic drive past the Haouz plains towards the southern slopes of the High Atlas Mountains, Visit a Berber weekly market ( Tuesdays and Saturdays ). Hike the National park of Toubkal on foot or riding a mule to Armed Berber village. Enjoy a Berber Tagine in the roof top terrace of Kasbah du Toubkal.

Your day trip to the Atlas Mountains will start with a pick up from your hotel or riad, and a smooth 30 minutes drive past the new luxury real estate developments and golf courses towards Tahennaout, a small peaceful town soon to be a favorite residence area for those who are willing to commute to Marrakech and can’t stand its busy lifestyle.
From here, you will start crossing the High Atlas Mountains and streams past adobe mud brick Berber villages to Asni village, where you will stop to visit the Berber market, which gets busier on Saturdays.
Your journey will continue to Imlil a beautiful village located at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains ( 1704 m )
After a brief introduction to your local guide, get ready for a couple hours hike to Armed Village( while enjoying the fresh air and learning about the fauna, flaura, and the Berbers special way of life. If you have kids, or you can’t hike, friendly mules are available for hire at an extra cost of 10 Euros per mule.
Your hiking journey will end at the legendary Kasbah du Toubkal ( 1850 m ), famous for its roof top terrace overlooking Toubkal Mount ( 4167 ), the highest peak in North Africa.
After lunch and time to relax, drive back to Marrakech with a n opportunity to visit Sir Richard Branson’s Kasbah Tamadot( Part of Virgil limited hotels ).
Your day trip to Imlil and Toubkal National Park will end with a drop off at your hotel / riad or a location of your choice.
